China Telecom is deploying QChat PTT system in China. Tianyi-BREW limited, Co. (as the joint venture of China Telecom and Qualcomm) is assigned by mother company (China Telecom and Qualcomm) to set up a team to support QChat deployment, testing and post-launch trouble-shooting, etc. The QChat support engineer will perform QChat functional testing, performance testing, client testing, technical support to China Telecom regional offices, etc. This position requires hands-on technical work to run QChat test cases, data processing and analysis, provide on-site support to China Telecom regional offices to verify issues and resolutions. Frequent domestic travel may be required and expected. Skills/Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in either Mobile/Wireless Telecomm industry, with an interest in gaining knowledge and expertise in the end to end system. - Good understanding on CDMA EVDO and Voice Over IP (VOIP) communication. - Good understanding of data protocols such as HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, UDP, Java, and hands on experience working with Linux systems is required. - Experience with network testing, handset testing, drive testing and data processing & analysis. - Experience with RAN, Packet core network (PDSN, AAA, DNS etc) and/or handset - Experience with PTT (or PoC) technologies will be a plus. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Skilled at developing interpersonal relationships both internally and externally and willing to be team player.
